Green
Going Green is part of the “new normal” for real estate in the United States. The Range Light Partners approach to the green movement has always been from the perspective of stewardship. Whether “global warming” and “climate change” are real or not is irrelevant. We all have a responsibility to pass on what we have inherited in as good or better shape than the way we received it. To that end, energy usage needs to be reduced, water preserved and where possible alternate sources of energy need to be introduced. There is an economic reality to this too: reducing operating costs increases NOI and potentially increases a sale price. Range Light Partners works with some of the best practitioners in the business, including Hannah Solar, to provide our clients a menu of greening choices:
1.Green Audit: Range Light contracted engineers and LEED experts will conduct a thorough inspection of the asset to identify green opportunities. We inspect siting, water usage, storm water drainage, insulation, systems, lighting, usage loads and a number of other facets to provide the client a base line.
2.Model Green: Range Light uses the results of the Green Audit to financially model costs and savings incorporating all the benefits available through state and Federal grants and tax credits.
3.Installation: Working with certified LEED or Green Advantage installers, Range Light Partners manages the installation to minimize conflicts with existing tenants and owners while providing the client with a quality end product that will ultimately improve the ROI.
